Entrance Design's job was to bring this living room from cluttered and busy to contemporary calm—and we think we delivered. By curating a refined palette, streamlining the layout, and incorporating pieces from local suppliers and artists, we created a space that feels both modern and meaningful. The result is a beautifully balanced interior that speaks to simplicity, comfort, and considered design.

We were brought in at the end of this exciting build with interiors designed by Izzard Interiors. Our role was to add the finishing touches with drapes in all the bedrooms and living spaces of this stunning penthouse. We also sourced the dining and bar stools from Stellar through Backhouse Interiors.

This stunning salon grew from a completely blank space of concrete and more concrete! Glass pertitions were added along with floor to ceiling sheers for privacy and a touch of luxury. The furniture and decor were carefully curated to create a feeling of relaxation and sophistication.

A stunning bungalow beautifully renovated by Evolution Builders. Our clients wanted to incorporate antiques and items collected during trips to Europe. The look and feel was to be contemporary but with traditional elements. The request was for an all white kitchen, which with the dark oak grey floors, the finished product is stunning.

For this project, we recovered the existing chairs in a purple velvet and sourced super comfy chairs to compliment the antique table, which we had restored. The Tom Dixon pendants finish off this space. In the second lounge, we had a sofa custom made to fit the space.

The master bedroom was the former lounge. We kept the original curtains and worked from there. The headboard is custom made to cover the old fireplace and the wallpaper from Cole and Sons pulls it all together. For the ensuite our client wanted something sleek in black and white.

We had the vanity custom made and the glass bowls were brought in by Metrix. Products were supplied by, James Dunlop, Warwick Fabrics, Apartmento, ECC, French Country, The Paper Room, and The Ivy House to name a few.

A Herne Bay new build two years in the making. The result is a modern, edgy and light filled family home. We had fun with the bathrooms, mixing things up giving the en-suite a spa like feel, the kids bathroom a functional but interesting look and a dramatic powder room. The kitchen is finished in an oak veneer with l Dekton bench tops. The back splash is a one of a kind finished in Apiani tiles by Artedomus. The tv room has been painted in a dark grey on both the ceilings and walls and finished with velevt drapes to create the perfect movie watching atmosphere. Venluree took care of all the blinds and curtains, Artedomus and Tile Imports provided the tiles, Waterware provided all of the bathroomware, James Dunlop supplied our favourite Laconia Air and Citta and Weave Home provided us with the photo shoot accessories.

Herne Bay House

A grand old villa brought to life again. The brief from our client was to have a modern open plan house keeping traditional elements where possible. We also needed to incorporate their love of mid century design, utilising existing pieces of furniture. The house was rebuilt from the ground up, retaining and preserving the heritage facade. The soaring ceilings and kauri floors still remain. Artedomus supplied the bathroom tiles, Middle Earth supplied the kitchen tiles. Other suppliers include: EMD Kitchens, Dawson & Co, Furtex, Warwick, James Dunlop, The Fire Dept, Traditional Taps, Harvey Norman, Lightplan to name a few!

Located in the beautiful rolling hills of the countryside, the farmhouse inspired kitchen has been elegantly designed to evoke a feeling of comfort and old world charm. Constructed from only the highest quality timber materials, the bespoke joinery includes custom-made cupboards and drawers that are perfect for storing all the family’s kitchen essentials in a neat and organized way. The porcelain countertops are durable and stylish, providing an sophisticated touch to this French country style kitchen. Designed in 2022 and completed in 2023, this stunning kitchen is sure to be the hub of the home for this family for many years to come. With Entrance Design’s expertise and attention to detail, the Dairy Flat New Kitchen is a beautiful example of modern farmhouse style and craftsmanship.

Introducing Rangers Retreat, a charming modern farmhouse-style property nestled in the picturesque South Island countryside. Completed in the year 2023, this cosy cottage offers unparalleled views that are simply breathtaking. The interior design concept focuses on bringing the outside in, with natural elements and earthy tones that reflect the rural lifestyle of the estate. This single-house project showcases the expert craftsmanship and attention to detail that Entrance Design is renowned for, making it the perfect retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape in a stunning natural setting.

Rangers Retreat

A stunning Guy Tarrant home where furniture and some lighting changes were the only requirements. Pops of colour were added to compliment the concrete floors, bagged brick, oak kitchen and black granite. The oversized piece of art by Shintaro was our jumping off point. Furniture and accessories are from various suppliers such as Bauhaus, Rembrandt, Soren Liv, Lightco, ECC, Furtex, Broste Copenhagen and Citta.
